A craft retreat in the hinterland

Imogen and I had discussed many times how much fun it would be to run a craft retreat in the hinterland, and finally we got our chance! Last weekend the girls from Bubnest invited us to their first retreat to facilitate a craft class to learn how to make DIY nursery decorations (Have you heard of Bubnest? If you are a mum or a mum-to-be, check their beautiful nests here).

To this event, Imogen went with her family and she taught how to make the most beautiful mobile for nurseries and children’s rooms. She included a dreamcatcher inside the base ring, and then used some Bubnest fabric and felting balls. What do you think?

They all had an amazing time crafting, doing some outdoor yoga, camp fires and bathing at the infinite pool. Lucky her!

Me, on the other side… I was taking a full on digital marketing class with Brett Campbell and his Authority Academy. The course was truly inspiring, I got a lot out of it, but let’s be honest. It was not  as fun as a craft retreat in the Australian hinterland. I learnt all about funnels, the last trends in social media, how to run successful Marketing campaigns, etc, etc… Heaps of information that I am still processing. My goal is to implement a few ideas in the next 3 weeks (So if you see something weird going on in Social media or the website, it is just me trialling and erring, lol!)

Anyway, I need to get back to crafts because our Mother’s Day workshop is in 2 days only! Do you like the bouquet of paper flowers we are making?
